Francisco Nuno Rodrigues (b.2001, Madeira Island) works across moving image, performance and installation.
At the heart of his practice lies an attraction to the experimental possibilities of refusal—an abrasive, yet generative, desire to agitate, subvert and reject the defined reality. His work creates friction, eliciting moments of volatility where identity, biography, documentation and narrative uncoil, multiply, and mutate. Grinding the immiscible to concieve unseen deviant tangents.
